Rogue BattleStar 100mm

The MobilityWOD Big BattleStar is another game-changing massage tool from the mind of Kelly Starretta doctor of physical therapy and one of the pioneers of modern mobility training. With this design, the goal was to make a roller with a much stronger grip than the average tubular foam roller. By using a spindle with a row of 12 Urethane rubber discs, 100mm in diameter, the Big BattleStar creates a lot more shear in the joint tissues. This makes it a nice complement to other MobilityWOD products like theGemini and SuperNova.

The Big Battlestar is versatile, too. You can use it independently on the ground as a basic roller, or use the BattleStar Cradle to elevate and hold the roller in positiongiving you better leverage for targeted work on the hips and larger muscle groups. A smaller 50mm diameter version, the Little BattleStar, is also available (sold separately.)

As Kelly Starrett puts it, If a steam roller, wolverine, and a chain saw got together and had a baby, the BattleStar would be born.
