The YORK Black Oxide International Weight Bars feature a sleek black oxide coating and hard chrome sleeves, making them visually striking. The black oxide finish provides a strong grip, and the steel used for the bar is made in the USA, with a minimum tensile strength of 175,000.
These bars are less flexible and more rigid, making them ideal for static, controlled movements like squats, chest presses, and deadlifts. They are also excellent for Olympic lift training. The sleeves are secured with a bar end nut and spring pin, and are precisely machined to a diameter of 1.975 inches to fit 2-inch Olympic plates.
